🇬🇷 Stay in Oia for at least a night because the sunrise & sunset here are worth experiencing!
🏊‍♀️ Honestly, all my hotels I got were not worth paying extra for the little unheated pools. I never used them. Maybe worth it if you’re at a super luxury resort but otherwise skip & save!
🌬️ THE WIND IS NEXT LEVEL. I truly was not prepared. Pack long dresses or dress weights to add to your skirts/dresses to avoid them flying all over the place (yes these are a thing)!
🚘 Rent a car! It was about 40euro for a day & I got to see the entire island. Highly recommend checking out Perissa Beach!
—> You can also rent ATVS to drive around the island but honestly I saw a LOT of people wiped out on them.. I felt safer in a car.
🥙 Skip the fancy restaurants and opt for street food/small local restaurants. Tbh I didn’t have any AMAZING food here, so might as well not pay too much for it.
🏝️ Go to Naxos or Milos or both! Each are just a few hour by ferry from Santorini & these were my favorite Greek islands!
