Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons zaatar
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 eggs
- ¼ cup shredded Akawi cheese
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the zaatar and olive oil until well combined.
- Crack the eggs on top of the zaatar and olive oil mixture and whisk again until well combined without any lumps.
- Heat a dry skillet over medium-high heat. Transfer the egg mixture on top and spread around the skillet to evenly distribute. Cover the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the eggs are cooked through.
- Add cheese to half the omelette, if desired and close the other half over the cheese. Cook for another 1 minute, or until the cheese has melted. Enjoy immediately.
